Back again to our main topic, ISO 9001, as we previously explained before, ISO 9001 is an international standard for customer satisfaction quality management systems.
Why does customer satisfaction have certain standards to follow? Surely, in order to be a guide for the companies to give their best products or services to the customers. The ISO contains information on how organizations are able to improve and maintain the quality of a product (both goods and services so that customers are satisfied with the products produced.
In addition, ISO 9001 contains clauses or standards that must be made and applied by organizations that want to implement and want to achieve ISO 9001 certification. In order to get this certification, the company needs to meet these standards beforehand.
This ISO 9001 standard or clause will explain more clearly about the need for an organization/company to have a management system to operate, how to flow business processes, and how to handle and monitor work starting from input processes to the output.
Everything is explained in this ISO 9001 clause, and it must be standardized in documentation whether it is related to policies and procedures (SOP).
Why Do Companies Need It?
The technological developments and intense competition in the current era make ISO 9001 one of the key foundations and a strong basis for organizations to achieve their goals.
It is undeniable that many organizations/companies have implemented the ISO 9001 management system. However, many of them also lack the implementation of the certification itself, which basically ruins the whole purpose.
Why is that so? Because it is undeniable that it is easy to get ISO 9001 certification, many organizations/companies who just get a certificate are only doing so to meet customer requirements or other tender requirements without seriousness and do not really implement and implement the ISO 9001 system, so they do not get the spirit and benefits of ISO 9001.
In fact, if the ISO 9001 management system is really and truly implemented within the organization/company, of course, there will be many benefits and can be a solid foundation for the organization/company.
For all organizations/companies, whether small, medium or large scale, if you want to build a strong system, one of the keys is implementing an ISO management system.
